Assuming the tech trend for electronic vehicles to take off in the future, Japan is leading the road to a world free from gas-powered cars. In April of 2017, the next government reform bill recognized peace and prosperity before the environment. The new bill states that by 2030, people will have to live in clean vehicles that don't produce toxic gases, fixed and 30 percent cheaper than today's automakers.

Clean and safe are the most main aims of Singapore's next government clean vehicle plan. The strategy covers the use of sustainable energy, alternative fuel vehicles (AFV), and electrification. Singaporean AFV makers will be required to prove their vehicles will be public transportation vehicles. The government also plans to increase the purchase and the use of hybrid and pure electrified vehicles. Players such as Toyota, Volvo, Daimler, and General Motors are spending millions on research to develop newer generations of fuel cells and electric car components.
