Fred's friend Chuck, left a video with him in a spooky cavern. The video leads the gang to think that Chuck was taken by a \"Zatari\" chicken worshiper. The gang has to go to the caverns and find out what happened to Chuck!
Scott tells Coach that he can't play the game the next night and Coach doesn't understand. Scott tells him that he's having personal issues, to which Coach asks if it's a girl or if it's a guy. Scott tells him that it's neither of those, he's having problems with aggression. Coach tells him that you play lacrosse to deal with aggression and that if Scott doesn't play, he won't be first line.
Scott and Allison talk in the hallway about her coming to see the game. She tells him that Lydia, Jackson, and them are going out after the game and that he should invite Stiles, too. Allison goes to her locker and finds her jacket from the party.
Lydia and Scott are solving math problems on the board. Lydia asks Scott why he isn't playing in the game the next day and tells him that he is playing because he injured Jackson. When he says that it'll save people if he doesn't play, she says that if he doesn't play they'll probably win and Lydia will introduce Allison to all of the hot guys on the team.
Stiles goes to Scott's house and asks what he found. Scott tells him he smelled something buried on Derek's property and he thinks it was blood. Scott tells Stiles that when they find out whose blood it was, Stiles' dad arrests Derek and Scott learns how to control the shift because he needs to play the lacrosse game.
Back in the lobby, Jackson comes out and tells Lydia that the doctor gave him a cortisone shot but told him not to make a habit of it. Lydia tells him to get another one just before the game. When he begins to argue she tells him that all the pros do it, so he should if he wants to go pro. They kiss as Stiles looks on disgusted. Scott comes out of the morgue and tells Stiles that the smell is the same and Stiles says they use the fact that they have proof it was Derek. Stiles asks Scott if he's doing this because he wants to play the game or if he wants to stop Derek. Scott tells Stiles there were bite marks on the legs and Stiles tells Scott that they're going to need shovels.
The next morning, Derek is arrested by the Sheriff for murder. Stiles confronts Derek to ask him about why the girl was different, could turn into a real wolf. Derek tells Stiles that maybe he should be more concerned with Scott shifting during the lacrosse game. The Sheriff pulls Stiles out of the car and asks why they were in the woods the night before. He tells his dad that they were looking for Scott's inhaler from the night he lied about Scott being in the woods.
He runs to Allison's house and almost goes into her room before he sees in his reflection that he has shifted. He runs into her driveway in front of her father's car, which hits him, making him shift back to human. Allison runs out to make sure he is okay and Scott tells them both that he is and that he was just there to make sure she was going to the game. She confirms that she is and her father says he will be there as well.
Stiles tries to convince Scott not to play because he could lose control which could have many consequences. Lydia tells Scott that nobody likes a loser as he's walking to the bench. Coach asks Jackson how his shoulder is and tells him to play through any pain. Nobody passes to Scott per Jackson's instructions. Scott's frustration causes him to shift, which he uses to win the game. He almost attacks another player until he hears Allison in the stands which brings him back.
Once the game is done, he runs off the field so nobody sees him shifted. Allison goes to the locker room to look for him and finally finds him after he's controlled the shift. He apologizes for being so weird, telling her that she makes him nervous and he's worried about not getting his second chance. She accepts his apology and they kiss before she leaves.
At the precinct, the detectives, and the captain, having been going over surveillance footage, tracking Sara's last known movements - down to the laundry room, back, and down again. Over the subsequent hour, only the tenant who found the body takes the elevator all the way down. Since the stairs must have been used, the detectives plan to run the names of maintenance workers on duty (three) although Castle feels all the neighbors should be checked, as they make better murderers, from a narrative standpoint. He begins to weave the tale of 'the guy in 8-B', unassuming, pleasant enough, keeps to himself, until this beautiful young girl passes through his orbit. He starts, as a game, to find out about her, watch her patterns and movements, and the interest spirals into obsession. Cloaked in the shadows and anonymity, he strikes Sara down as she leaves the elevator, ensuring the cameras don't catch him at it. Her empty eyes reproach him for the murder he never meant - he just wanted her to truly see him. The warm sigh of the dryer draws his attention, and he reverently places the body inside, a smile on his lips as he realizes that he does, in fact, have a quarter on him, and he starts the spin cycle which buys him time to use his skills - and disappear. At this point, as Castle goes for coffee, the detectives are finally released from his spell, to investigate the neighbors - particularly the guy in 8-B.
Castle points out his earlier desire to 'go after' Howard Peterson, but Beckett explains that her technique is to learn about the most probable suspects before questioning them thoroughly, so that they are \"tied to more specific answers\". Castle is impressed by her ability to mask her suspicions, and claims she would do wonderfully at the writers' poker game, which Beckett believes is financially out of her league. Howard Peterson looks less than delighted to see them again.
Out on the street Beckett begins to chip away at his earlier assertions--Mr. Peterson admits to having an affair, but reveals that it was with a female coworker and not with Sara, who stayed late covering for him while he was with his coworker. Back at the precinct, as Ryan bemoans the death of loyalty and true commitment, Castle offers \"DeGeneres and deRossi\" as a faithful couple. To the disappointment of 'the boys', Beckett refuses to play guessing games, and is rather delighted by the party whose alibi collapsed.
11/20/2017 - The most surprising thing about listening to this episode long after recording it is how there are little to no chicken puns or jokes scattered throughout. Given the truly awful \"salad\" bit from last week, however, that's probably for the best.
Luke and Evan's reference game is off the chain, to the point where they had to refrain from elaborating on such pop culture touchstones as Homer's The Iliad, Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and J.J. Abram's Cloverfield. Looking to learn more about those and more Patreon donors should be receiving those extras in the very near future.
I would not see myself ever ordering this sandwich if it was available at any restaurant, but if I had to choose between this sandwich and nothing, I would take the sandwich every time. The peanut butter was very overpowering, but after chewing and swallowing the only flavor left in my mouth was the mashed potatoes, and unfortunately the chicken flavor gets left behind. I would only recommend this sandwich if you are someone who hates eating normal food.
In 2023, Ellie sleeps on the ground in an abandoned building. Joel and Tess watch her as she wakes, both holding her at gunpoint. The three address her bite; Ellie maintains that she is not infected, but Joel and Tess are doubtful. Ellie begins eating a chicken sandwich Marlene packed for her, when Tess demands to know her importance or else they will leave without her, to which Ellie admits that there is a Firefly camp out west that is developing a vaccine. Joel, still completely doubtful, suggests again that they take her back, but Tess narrowly convinces him to follow through with the current plan because, while she is still doubtful over Ellie's immunity, she maintains that the Fireflies will still give them supplies. They head out, and Ellie is captivated by the ruins.
Soon after, Bean and Luci wander the streets of Dreamland, and Luci asks how she plans to kill Merkimer. She suggests poison, and enters Little Seizures Poison Shop, but is unable to come to a decision. They exit the shop, and Bean halfheartedly suggests rubbing a sick chicken in Merkimer's face and, \"hoping for the best\". Suddenly, the clock tower bell chimes, drawing Bean's attention. She sees the automaton clock, and the figures of the sailors chasing the mermaids, and suddenly has an epiphany. She excitedly turns back to Luci, who is devouring the sick chicken whole.
Tonight, both teams are put to the test as each contestant has to make their best chicken wings and then take on their first dinner service. VIP guests include legendary singer Gene Simmons (KISS) and singer/actress Jojo. Follow along with our live blog below.
EP123 - Pizza Girls: When the girls are about to deliver the mushroom pizza, on the tree bench. It is brown, with a black moustache and a green hat. It is probably a reference to the Italian video game character Luigi.
EP139 - Smoochy Kiss: When Chilli is hiding from the girls, on a couch cushion. It is coloured Green, like the one from Whale Watching. Also, when Bingo is threatening Bandit with the basil, beside the fridge, there is a brown dog under a box with an eye patch. This is probably a reference to a character from the video game series Metal Gear Solid, Solid Snake. The Magnet dog can also be seen on the fridge door.
Stiles realizes that Scott is transforming and rushes over to him, and once Scott groans that he can't control it, he manages to corral Scott back into the boy's locker room, where he becomes so overwhelmed by his shift into werewolf form that the wolf inside him takes over and attacks Stiles. At a loss for options, Stiles grabs the nearby fire extinguisher and blows it in Scott's face, disorienting him enough that he shifts back to his human form. The realization of what he almost did to Stiles horrifies Scott, and Stiles reminds him that anger and anything else that causes an increased pulse risks him losing control, which means he needs to sit out of the upcoming game on Saturday, even after Scott argues that he just made first line. 59ce067264
