One of the games we talked about was Nevada-UNLV. We very clearly laid out the situation for the Wolf Pack: If they had beaten UNLV, they would have been fine. If they did not beat UNLV, they would have been in very big trouble.
Description: In the party game Bubble Talk, the active player each round presents one of 150 images included in the game to the other players; these players then each choose one of the caption cards in their hands, and the active player decides which caption fits the image best, awarding the image card to the player who submitted that caption. Bubble Talk includes 300 different caption cards, with the captions presented in word balloons, aka, "bubble talk".
The New Orleans Pelicans will be in action tonight against the Utah Jazz. For the Golden State Warriors, it could be meaningless, or they could be watching one of their future players take the court.
While we’ll look into players the Warriors could trade or sign, New Orleans will have three players hitting the open market with five others being restricted free agents. Brandon Ingram will be the biggest name on the table, but I’d expect the Pelicans to match any offer he’s given.
Despite Zion Williamson being out of quarantine, the Pelicans are on the outside looking in when it comes to the postseason, so we may just see these players for eight games.
However, those eight should tell us all we need to know about these players and their ability to play at a high level, especially with a new season potentially starting just a few months after this current one is finalized.
The Warriors will be looking for shooting, a backup point guard, and potentially frontcourt depth as well. The Pelicans roster might not have any players that Golden State could feasibly add to make them immediate title threats.
But, these three would make this team marginally better and fill a void they currently have.

Next: No. 3

"},{"title":"Bubble Talk: 3 Pelicans the Warriors should keep an eye on - Page 4","permalink":"https://bluemanhoop.com/2020/07/30/bubble-talk-pelicans-warriors-keep-eye/2/","shortCodeTitle":null,"content":"

E’Twaun Moore
The Purdue alumni seems to be hitting a slum as of late, but hopefully, a new energy on a new team could turn things around for him.
This past season, he only started five out of 51 games as the Pelicans grew into a true contender, bringing in former Duke protege JJ Redick. In addition to that, he only averaged 18.8 minutes a game.
In a cause-and-effect pattern, Moore’s game has followed suit and his decreased minutes has led to decreased quality. Moore’s shooting percentage has dropped almost a whole six percent, and he has gone from scoring 12 points a game to 8.6.
The Indiana native may just need some time away from the bayou in order to clean up his game, and just maybe the Golden State Warriors should be the one to present him that opportunity. Assuming he’d take a minimum or mid-level exception, there’s a chance they’d bring him in.
The Warriors value shooting. Moore is a shooter. It’s a march made in heavy if the team thinks he can get back to his former self.

Next: No. 2

"},{"title":"Bubble Talk: 3 Pelicans the Warriors should keep an eye on - Page 4","permalink":"https://bluemanhoop.com/2020/07/30/bubble-talk-pelicans-warriors-keep-eye/3/","shortCodeTitle":null,"content":"

Derrick Favors
Favors is currently known for his impressive efficiency, one thing Golden State would value. This past season he shot 62% from the field. He also holds a true shooting percentage of 62.4%, the 18th best in the league.
Favors also proved to be a versatile player as he is ranked in defensive rating and block percentages. Not typically known as an elite defender, Favors would add to the team’s frontcourt nicely, either as a complement to Draymond Green or as the captain of the second unit.
Likely to pricey for Golden State, Favors would be a great addition. Down from averaging over 16 points per game in Utah to single digits this season, there’s a chance that Favors could be the team’s mid-level exception signing.
Favors not being a three-point threat is a bit concerning as Golden State has heavily valued shooting over the last few seasons. Having Favors and Chriss in the frontcourt wouldn’t provide too many small-ball lineups.
He’s still an efficient big man with high potential on a team willing to feed him. For Golden State, it could work out well, but several things would have to fall into place first.

Next: No. 1

"},{"title":"Bubble Talk: 3 Pelicans the Warriors should keep an eye on - Page 4","permalink":"https://bluemanhoop.com/2020/07/30/bubble-talk-pelicans-warriors-keep-eye/4/","shortCodeTitle":null,"content":"

(Photo by Jeff Haynes/NBAE via Getty Images)

Jahlil Okafor
Another efficient big man, former Duke product and top-five pick Jahlil Okafor shoots 53.6% when shooting inside the arc. The 2015-2016 All-Rookie team member, had a fabulous start to his career with the 76ers.
Okafor was starting most games, averaging 30 minutes per game and putting up 17.6 points. His defense was tough to get around as it felt that Okafor was just invisible in the paint. It seemed like despite being a top scoring threat, his defense saw him always vanish from the league.
Then the following season his minutes were cut, and he had eventually hopped around from the Brooklyn Nets to the Pelicans. His performance just hasn’t been what it once was, and both defense and opportunity are to blame.
What we do know is that he can score. He’s proven that. For the Warriors bench, they could use scoring. While the defense could be improved, Okafor could easily be a beneficial addition for the team’s second unit.

Next: Top 25 Golden State Warriors in franchise history

All three, at different prices, would help the Warriors get even a bit closer to their ultimate offseason goal of title contention."}],"useSlideSources":true,"themeType":"classic","prevPost":"https://bluemanhoop.com/2020/07/29/golden-state-warriors-eric-paschall-deserves-all-rookie-first-team/","nextPost":"https://bluemanhoop.com/2020/07/30/golden-state-warriors-basketball-can-return-august/","prevText":"Prev","nextText":"Next","buttonWidth":0,"buttonWidth_post":0,"postUrl":"https://bluemanhoop.com/2020/07/30/bubble-talk-pelicans-warriors-keep-eye/","postId":80900,"refreshAds":true,"refreshAdsEveryNSlides":1,"adRefreshingMechanism":"javascript","siteUrl":"https://bluemanhoop.com","prevText_post":"Prev post","nextText_post":"Next post"};(function ($) {$(document).ready(function () {try {tpsInstance = new tps.createSlideshow(tpsOptions);} catch(e) {}});}(jQuery)); (function () {// create the elements and set all attributes:var conversationScript = document.createElement('script');conversationScript.setAttribute('async', 'true');conversationScript.setAttribute('src', ' _FZwzkuWy');conversationScript.setAttribute('data-spotim-module', 'spotim-launcher');conversationScript.setAttribute('data-post-url', ' -talk-pelicans-warriors-keep-eye/');conversationScript.setAttribute('data-post-id', '80900');conversationScript.setAttribute('data-spotim-multi-instance', true);conversationScript.setAttribute('data-article-tags', 'Golden State Warriors, warriors');conversationScript.setAttribute('data-disqus-url', ' -talk-pelicans-warriors-keep-eye/#!');conversationScript.setAttribute('data-disqus-identifier', '80900 =80900');// append the elements to the container:var container = document.querySelector('#comments-wrapper-80900');container.appendChild(conversationScript);})(); Top StoriesBlue Man Hoop 2 yearsGolden State Warriors should target a big-man in 2020 NBA DraftBleacher Report 2 yearsReport: Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick to Make Up ESPN's New MNF BoothBlue Man Hoop 2 yearsGolden State Warriors' ex-coach is in favor of trading NBA Draft pickBlue Man Hoop 2 yearsBubble Talk: 3 Bucks the Warriors should target if their thrive in bubbleBlue Man Hoop 2 yearsFormer Golden State Warriors, Cavs rivalry represented in NBA restart Newsletter Golden State Warriors news from FanSided Daily Your Golden State Warriors. Bubble Bobble[a] is a 1986 platform game developed and published by Taito for arcades. It was distributed in the United States by Romstar, and in Europe by Electrocoin. Players control Bub and Bob, two dragons that set out to save their girlfriends from a world known as the Cave of Monsters. In each level, Bub and Bob must defeat each enemy present by trapping them in bubbles and popping, who turn into bonus items when they hit the ground. There are 100 levels total, each becoming progressively more difficult.
Bubble Bobble was designed by Fukio "MTJ" Mitsuji. When he joined Taito in 1986, he felt that Taito's game output was of mediocre quality. In response, he decided to make a game that was fun to play and could rejuvenate the company's presence in the industry. Mitsuji hoped his game would appeal to women, specifically couples that visited arcades. As such, he decided to make Bubble Bobble focus largely on its two player co-operative mode. He made bubbles the core mechanic as he thought they would be a fun element that girls would enjoy. 59ce067264
