Natalie: I kept thinking this, she would never even judge him this way lol. Anyway, the destruction of Lil Dumpy is the canary in the coal mine of the chaotic cluster fuck of opening night. The sabotage begins.
Warning: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard Season 3, Episode 4 - \"No Win Scenario\"Star Trek: Picard season 3's Changeling storyline has finally answered whether the Borg ever encountered Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Dominion Founders. The Changelings made a shock return in Picard season 3, episode 3, \"Seventeen Seconds\", when it was revealed that a rogue schism was behind the theft from Daystrom Station, and the sabotage aboard the USS Titan-A. Commander Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) and Jack Crusher (Ed Speelers) unmasked the Changeling saboteur aboard the Titan, and in \"No Win Scenario\", Seven continues to track the imposter with help from Captain Liam Shaw (Todd Stashwick).
Anvilicious: The episode appeared to be suggesting that a mere belief in a higher power amounted to superstition, ignorance and fear. This was probably a case of Mis-blamed, because he was specifically talking about the cast-off religion of the Mintakans, whose belief in the \"Overseer\" did in fact lead to those very things, and Dr. Barron was explicitly asking Picard to actively manipulate the Mintakans into following a blatantly artificial religion with a fake god. Regardless, some fans take issue with the episode since aspects of Picard's speech still sound as if they're applicable to religion in general.\"Horrifying... Dr. Barron, your report describes how rational these people are. Millennia ago, they abandoned their belief in the supernatural. Now you are asking me to sabotage that achievement, to send them back into the dark ages of superstition and ignorance and fear No!\"
The men chat with Tommy and order him to speak with the Duke and Duchess and apologize for making a huge mistake of accusing Father Hughes. Tommy admits he wanted to kill Hughes for passing information and this gives Hughes a stir. Tommy is shot up with some medication and sent on his way. He is told by the Priest that they have people within his life and his son is threatened again, before Tommy is set free. In the morning, Tommy confirms with Mary that he has sacked all of the soldiers and that some men will be coming down from Birmingham. He insists he is paying for bringing the cursed sapphire into his home, before he prepares to leave. He first calls Arthur can tells him that the Priest and his men want the robbery sabotaged. They agree that Gypsies and kin only will be involved, before Tommy hangs up. He next calls Ada (Sophie Rundle) and tells her to speak with one of her comrades and setup a meeting for him with someone at the Soviet Embassy.
The Ashanti army was drilled in the Akwamu strategic doctrine. Akwamu strategy hinged on encircling the enemy. The army was divided into several components. A scouting regiment tracked enemy forces, sabotaged their paths, and launched guerrilla style sniper attacks. The forward guard, composed of the best trained members of the Ashanti army would fiercely attack the enemy, forcing the enemy into a static defensive position. The four wings would then move around the pinned enemy, attempting to encircle the enemy. The main body provided a manpower reserve for whichever part of the army needed reinforcements. Meanwhile, the rear guard of the army sat at the back of the force, protecting against encirclement. Officers and nobility were protected by a specialized group of bodyguards meant to protect these critical people from being hurt or killed in a potential defeat. Finally, the army was accompanied by a horde of medics, engineers, supply transporters, and foragers, meant to support the army in non-combat matters.
There's a certain joy as a TNG fan growing up seeing Stewart's Picard, Frakes' Riker, and Gates McFadden's Dr. Beverly Crusher pick up where they left off on their problem-solving dynamic again along with Speleers' Jack. On the investigative front is Jeri Ryan's Seven, still trying to find out who the Changling spy is trying to sabotage the Titan and later helping to implement the aforementioned group's plan into action with Stashwick's Shaw. I have to say that Shaw is starting to grow on me like a space Archie Bunker. Yes, he's a bigot and an asshole, but it's imperative we see those types of characters grow too, because maybe if we see him stop deadnaming Seven, others can learn from his example. 59ce067264
